This page will teach you how to set up Netscape Communicator 4.0 to retrieve e-mail from your OfficeOnWeb POP accounts. To configure Netscape 4.0, follow the instructions below.

We will use the example of an account with OfficeOnWeb with the following info:
         Domain name: yourbiz.com
       Userid: youruid
       E-mail: firstinitiallastname@yourbiz.com

• Open Communicator and choose "Edit" from the menu bar.
  
  
• Choose "Preferences".
  
  
• In the tree structure on the left side of the dialog box, select "Identity", which is under "Mail & Groups".  Fill in the boxes as follows:
          Your Name:  Your Name
          Your e-mail:  youruid@yourbiz.com
          Reply-to Address:   firstinitiallastname@yourbiz.com
  
  
• Now, in the tree structure on the left side of the dialog box, select "Mail Server", which is also under "Mail & Groups".  Fill in the boxes as follows:
          Mail Server User Name: youruid
           Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server: yourbiz.com. or smtp.safepages.com, or non OfficeOnWeb ISP designation
          Incoming Mail Server: yourbiz.com
          POP3 User Name: youruid
